Barys Truck Manufactory LLP is implementing a project to establish the production of trucks and road construction machinery in the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the project, a licensing agreement has been signed with the Chinese corporation XCMG (Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd.) — the largest state-owned manufacturer of construction machinery in China. Founded in 1989, XCMG ranks 1st in China and 3rd globally among construction equipment manufacturers. The cooperation provides for the transfer of advanced technologies, as well as the use of unique equipment and engineering solutions developed by the foreign partner. This will enable the Kazakhstani enterprise to introduce high standards of quality and efficiency in line with international requirements. The product range includes: • – dump trucks; • – tractor trucks; • – wheel loaders; • – motor graders; • – bulldozers. The company’s production facility is a modern industrial complex consisting of five main workshops, each responsible for a specific stage of the technological cycle: 1. Body manufacturing and painting workshop; 2. Frame manufacturing workshop; 3. Chassis assembly and testing workshop; 4. Cabin production workshop; 5. Cabin painting workshop. At present, Stage I – the preliminary project review – has been completed. The materials have been submitted for Stage II of the expert evaluation, which includes more detailed project information and financial-economic calculations to be presented to the Industrial Development Fund. This stage is expected to be completed after obtaining a positive conclusion from the RSE “State Expertise”, to which the relevant documents have already been submitted.
